hi gordon, i have requested a MR of my pip award as i qualified for standard but believe i qualified for enhanced rate in the daily living, i also got 4 points for moving around (not enough to be awarded standard mobility) but this was on mental health grounds so my question is will my mobility award also be reconsidered using the new descriptors ordered by the courts recently or are they going to do the MR on the old rules that discriminated against mental health, meaning my mobility award will remain unchanged until they start the review process of old claims. or has the review process already begun ? many thanks bb
As of yesterday the DWP had not updated their guidance to assessors or repealed the changes to the Going Out activity so I would not expect an MR at this time, to use the old Descriptors unless they are changed in the very near future, an appeal panel will be different.
