PIP assessment date

I'm afraid they won't accept your word that you need a home assessment, you will need up to date medical evidence, for example a letter from your GP. Also the letter must be unambiguous about your ability to attend, so any suggestion that there are circumstances where you might be able to attend will undermine the letter.
