Face to Face PIP Reassessment was created by ChrisD
My PIP comes to an end in December 2018. I completed the update Form and yesterday received notification I will have a face to face reassessment and now await a date. I note in the latest B&W Newsletter that Sarah Newton stated "Nobody is going to be called in for face to face assessment" does this include reassessments. I have Functional Neurological Disorder together with arthritis and sciatica so like everyone my brain is kicking into concern and panic and sleepless nights. I am currently on the enhanced rate. Is it too early post Sarah Newton's statement so reassessments will still go ahead? The first assessment I had bore no resemblance to the meeting so I didn't get an award. I thought they had got the reports muddled with someone else. Then I joined B& W and took your advice and even insisted on them taping the meeting. This time I did get PIP. This time I note that if I want it taped I have to supply the equipment, which obviously I don't have, so I just have to hope the assessor is accurate and truthful in their note taking.

I'm afraid you have misread the article :)

It is about the DWP looking at previous awards due to the changes to the Going Out activity.

It does not effect in any way existing or future assessments that will continue as normal.
