Hello everyone, I receive PIP Enhanced Care rate but nothing for Mobility. I believe i should be receiving PIP Mobility but am unsure of whether it would be standard or enhanced. My award is from 2016. I suffer with severe anxiety and an autism spectrum disorder. This affects me going out and i never go out alone due to the distress it causes me. The DWP only awarded me four points for Mobility in 2016 and after the mandatory reconsideration they stuck to this decision. For four points, it states: Needs prompting to be able to undertake any journey to avoid overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. I feel strongly i have a case for the enhanced mobility 12 points: Cannot follow the route of a familiar journey without another person, an assistance dog or an orientation aid as my issues affect me going out alone. Would i stand a chance of this from what i've said and the government criteria changes?

Based on your post you are at best assessing yourself as meeting Descriptor (e) which score 10 points, if you are aiming for Descriptor (f) then you need to review the criteria you need to meet.
