I paint a bit but if I sold a painting or did a commissioned painting, how would I tell the DWP about this if I am on ESA, and would they take any money I made off my benefits ? What implications would it have for my benefits ?
What you are suggesting technically comes under the heading of Permitted Work although it's not a good match, have a look at our guide to PW in the ESA section.
