Hi , I did a search but am still unsure. My friend is on esa (support group). Her daughter has recentlly started work . I realise she should report to the council as the household income has gone up and it will change her housing benefit. She is very confused by it all . Should she report to the DWP as well ?

It shouldn't be an issue as they will not be counted as part of their household for the purposes of ESA.
