Missed letters for pip application on holiday!

Hi I had a change of circumstances on dla 2 years ago so I asked if I needed to apply for pip they said no do change of circumstances dla form which I did with your support awarded full award for mobility and care. We knew I'd have to fill a pip form in the future . Moving to date we went on a holiday as partner has retired longer than usual. I cant fly and have to lie down so we sailed and drove. Returned to find missed 3 letters and a phone call re transfer to pip. First inviting me to apply second saying I needed to inform them and third stopping the dla. It says we need contact before 3 March of award stopped permanently. Partner ringing later as I'm deaf ,in pain and can't cope stress. We will follow advise re phoning but any pointers next would be helpful. The dwp actually said I didn't need to inform them of us going away as it was withinot the limits of esa and dla or pip then they do this!

Partner rang and they are sending out pip forms within two weeks. We have to ring another number Monday to see if dla will be reinstated in the interim. Note that we have no record of any telephone calls regarding their correspondence despite having given 3 telephone numbers and an answer machine option. 3 letters in three weeks! Waste of paper but a great way if keeping money in their account not yours!. I will keep you posted and thankyou for advice
