After what seems like months and an assessment meeting that lasted almost 2 hours, my wife finally received a letter this morning awarding her PIP with an increase in the daily living allowance which she wasn't expecting, but more importantly she gets the enhanced mobility rate.
A massive sigh of relief all round, she'e been terrified of losing her car and thus her independence, and hasn't slept well for weeks because of it.
A huge thank you to all the Benefits and Work team, I don't think we'd have filled the forms in without the guides and information available on this site.
