GP and Nurse came for home visit yesterday and they want me to go to the hospital for tests within 2 weeks but I still haven't started the Pip2 form so I'm going to delay it till after that is sent off. Problem is I don't know what to do about putting anything about this planned appointment on the form. GP says I'm high risk of cancer but I really don't think I've got it although there is obviously something. I will be going by ambulance as I struggle going out, there's a chance I may not even go at all. I just thought could me putting this on the form cause them to delay a decision until more is found out at this appointment. I'm wondering if its better just to not put anything about it at all as I don't have a date for it yet as GP is waiting for my go ahead. I got a 2 week extension for sending in the form due to late form arrival and illness but I k now I have to start it now
PIP cannot consider a change unless you have been effected by it for three months so I don't believe this is going to effect the timescale for a Decision to made on your current assessment.
From your post, at the moment this they are just looking at tests so I would not include any information about this with your form. Once you have the result and an understanding of how your health might change, if indeed it actually will then you can consider whether you need to notify the DWP or not.
