Hi my first post . I've received a letter asking for a medical certificate covering 11th August to 9th March 2018. I had Medical 5th January 2018 and roughly 2 weeks later my money went up to higher rate and I also received letter saying I had been placed in support group. I thought once you had been placed in support group you no longer needed medical certificate. I haven't sent one in for whole of February but still got paid. I've tried to phone them 6 times now but been on hold for min 20 mins each time can anyone help please Thanks Nigel
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
It may be that your computer record was not updated in time to prevent the letter being sent.
Although your award means that you don't need to send further Fit Notes it may still be worth your contacting the DWP to make sure that there is nothing wrong.
