Hello. I was on I.B. and was transferred into ESA. My husband wasn't in paid work and we didn't have savings .
The report says the fault began when DWP didn't assess people for income related ESA. The trouble is if it's just a matter of waiting to see if they get in touch, is that, we know how incapable and unreliable the DWP are. We are at their mercy, which isn't fair. Thank you.
You can contact the DWP office dealing with your ESA claim and ask for an ESA3 to be sent, you would then complete this based on your financial situation at the time that you were transferred to ESA, make sure you include this date on the ESA3.
