Hello, i have the DWP chasing me for somewhere between £8K and £15K, they cannot decide which!! They say they paid me ESA when i should have had Tax Credits not ESA. They also want another £100 in fines for not paying them an amount i am disputting and they cannot decide upon.
They told me to stay on permitted work and then changed their minds, much later. I don't dispute they paid ESA in error, but, they won't offset that against a tax credit amount to get a true figure. I was the one who repeatedly suggested they were paying me wrong!!
At a tribunal last week i lost again. Why is it if the DWP say something it must be true, and if i say something i must be lying??!! The DWP near enough put that in writing and stated i was "inherently making things up". Their bundle of evidence had call logs i knew nothing about, references which mean nothing to me, and had multiple calls not listed. What can i do next?
