Recorder used at interview was created by John
My Wife had her assessment 2 weeks ago, the interviewer was friendly though obviously I did not know what was written down. I purchased 2 Groove Personal Cassette Players from Amazon which were rubbish. DO not buy.
The reason I wanted to record the session was not only to get a true record of the meeting as I intend to appeal if my Wife is downgraded in any way (MS chronic progressive 30 years) but also to insure the interviewer was more likely to do the job properly. I asked at the end of the session how often tape recorders were used at the interviews. She said that she had worked for the company for 3 years and we were the first. She also said that many people wanted to record the session on there mobile phones but this was not allowed.

You should be able to request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with her claim.

We would expect a Decision to be made in 2-4 weeks.
