Please can you help. I am currently in receipt of DLA, but have had a letter asking me to ring to apply for PIP. They ask me to ring with certain information, which I will do. However, I understood from this, that I would then be sent the PIP2 form. But from what I have read, and understand, it seems that they fill out the PIP1 on the phone with you, and then send that out for you to sign and return. Is this the case please?, also, does the PIP2 form get sent out at the same time? and when does the clock for filling in the PIP2 start. Any help would be very gratefully received.
The PIP1 is now only sent to claimants if there is additional information that is required, otherwise you will be asked to attest that the information you have given on the phone is correct and this will be treated as an electronic signature.
