I’m due to go to a tribunal in a few days and was wondering what exactly are they looking for. What sort of questions will I be asked. I had an accident whilst I was a fireman and had Pip for 18 years. Injury is still the same. No change never will. 8 months now without Pip money. The anxiety over this thing is really really not helping my mental health.

So you had a DLA award but no PIP award after transfer?
So they appeal will be about how you meet the PIP criteria. What activities did you expect to score for? Do you understand the criteria that you need to meet?
See our PIP Claim guide for the criteria.

Hey. No ive been getting Pip for several years on higher rate. Had a home visit from capita who decided I was cured. According to the assesment I no longer suffer from ptsd which was diagnosed by veterans uk and my prolapsed discs no longer exist although I showed them my mri scans payed for privately.
I had no problems going from dla to Pip.

Thanks for the update.
So in addition to showing that you meet the criteria for a higher award you should also raise the issue of whether the assessor and Decision Maker have adequately showed and improvement in your conditions to warrant the reduced award. However, be aware whilst this could lead the panel re-instating your previous award, they may do so with the previous end date, placing you back in the situation of having to be reassessed again.
