Just wondered if anyone on dialysis had problems claiming PIP? I'm currently on CAPD, for the third time in 38 years! - and in the process of claiming PIP - but DWP have cancelled my assessment 3 times now - I find it very difficult to explain all the problems that come with dialysis. Do all dialysis patients get PIP and if so what elements would I expect to get?
It's important you understand that PIP is not awarded because of a condition but the limitations that result from it, so it is perfectly possible that someone receiving dialysis would not actually score any points for PIP if they have no problems completing the PIP activities.
