Well ESA are dragging their heels on my mandatory reconsideration. I think I will fail as didn’t have time to submit any extra evidence due to them not posting things !!! Anyway ref the sick note you need to apeal and get the interim payment. Just what happens once I tell them I am appealing ? Do they contact doctor for it or do I ?
If your MR fails then you can appeal, once the appeal is accepted and you have written confirmation of this you can contact the DWP office that dealt with your ESA claim, they will also receive written confirmation of your appeal.
Ask to be put on the ESA Assessment rate while you wait for a hearing.
You will need to provide a Fit Note and maintain it until the hearing. The DWP will tell you where to send it.
