Thanks when I asked about it they didn't say anything about having to move the appointment but I will check before I ask permission.

I think the jury is still out on the advantages of recording the assessment but I would still recommend it be done if at all possible.

Hi Gordon,
I've got really bad anxiety in the lead up to my assessment and although I've been through the process times before it doesn't make it any easier. I'm worried about it all going wrong.
Is there any advice or tips you point me to that you could suggest in terms of preparation that might help?

Think about but don't over think how you might answer the questions you are going to be asked at the assessment.
The assessor is going to phrase the questions so you answer "yes", so you might say "yes but only if..." but they may stop listening after the "yes" so think about how you might answer "no only when...". If that is not too confusing
