Hi i just had a phone call regarding my pip, i filled out and returned my reassesment form over 2 months ago. I was told when they called me that they are going to do a paper based review, due to my anxiety etc and i have sufficient evidence to back this up. However i was asked if i go out the house at all, and if so how often . I replied twice a week but only with my carer and only very short distances by car due to the physcological distress it causes me. I just wanted to ask your thoughts gordon what they are trying to establish . I get standard rate care at moment but no mobility. Do you think they were trying to establish if im entitled to mobility component? and do you reckon i wil get it l for physcological distress ? KInd regards
Their questions would be relevant to the Going Out activity and whether you can Undertake a Journey.
Your post indicates that you have problems with doing this but I can't say whether you meet the criteria of not, it will depend on what you wrote on the form and the evidence that you attached.
