Hi I am thinking of moving home, but within my same local authority, Will i be put onto UC, I don't want to lose my SDP. I did speak to a HB adviser and she read something back to me about not being transferred onto UC if staying in same borough, but she wasn't entirely sure and gave the helpline number for UC. I didn't want to phone them, so can u help me pls , if possible. Thank you.

No, you won't have to claim UC it will be an amendment to your existing Housing Benefit Claim.
