I have.now received the letter about my PIP transfer from DLA. They have awarded me standard rate care down from high rate DLA and enhanced rate mobility. I’m confused as they state that the help will start from 20 February 2019 then carries on to say they will pay £188.27 into my account on 15 March 2019 (which is the money owed from 20 February and then will pay my benefit ever 4 weeks.
My DLA was paid weekly which suited me much better as I find dealing with my bills very difficult and I have no one to help me on a regular basis with things like this. Also I was due to get my DLA tomorrow, will that now be stopped until I received the new payment in March. Really worried I have to pay a carer and a cleaner out of my DLA money.
Your DLA remains in payment for four weeks after the date of the PIP Decision, it's likely that the Decision Maker was unaware that your DLA is paid weekly and has just calculated the amounts based on a four-weekly payment. I'm afraid you will need to check with the DWP about your next payment if you do not receive it as normal.
