Hi can I ask if a ESA assessment can be used towards a pip assessment. I sent both forms off within a month had a ESA medical which felt like a pip medical so can they use the report towards pip or is it two different things
An ESA assessment cannot substitute for a PIP assessment, although there are areas of overlap between the two benefits the criteria is still different, an ESA assessment report can sometimes be used to help with a PIP Decision but it is rare.
