I have unfortunately been on benefits for many years due to botched surgery and I have had many many medical assessments. Fours years ago I had to take my case to Tribunal when I was placed in Support. I am now facing this all again with a medical in March.
I provided medical proof having lost a week as the paperwork arrived over Christmas and have only only been able to get a doctors not today as my doctor retired. I will send to the assessors asap. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to avoid having to do all this again. Can I ask them to look at my case again this time including the doctors note and get them to recognise nothing has changed since my appeal. In Fact I am worse. Why anyone would think I would choose to live this life and survive on £500 when my mortgage is £400 I just don't know. Could anyone offer any advice. I am in Streatham and the advice centre I used in Clapham is now closed.
It's unlikely that those assessing you have any access to the papers associated with your appeal, did you complete the ESA50 in detail? Did you provide information from your appeal with the form?
What do you mean by a doctors note?
