Hello Gordon: I'm my sisters DWP appointee, having been sent the above. She receives ESA (Support Group) and PIP enhanced/enhanced - so the ESA50 is effectively a review. It's irritating that having not long ago supplied a raft of medical info for PIP, it's being requested again when there's great overlap between the two benefits.
Do you advise when completing this form as a 'review' that one treats it as a new claim or can it be treated as updating DWP with any changes since the last submission, such as hospital stays (yes), etc? If the fomer, that's disheartening, as there's so much info DWP already has for ESA, effectively updated several months ago with PIP-specific info.
No wonder claimants receiving both despair that DWP can't seem to cross-reference evidence!
