Hi, I tried to reply on my previously answered post but for some reason, the post wouldn't open.
Gordon...thank you for reply. My husband called the PIP line this morning and it seems they wanted clarification that I was in hospital overnight in 2017. My husband clarified but because we didn't have exact dates, they are writing to hospital. I have told no lies so I have nothing to worry about on that score....but I don't know why they are asking now when they awarded me PIP in 2018 on the evidence they have! The person just said they need dates for the system.
I have been ill all weekend worrying.

It is a little strange. an overnight stay would not have any impact on your PIP, maybe they have received notification that you were in hospital but not how long for.

Goodness knows what goes on at DWP! Apparently the man said that I had put on my form that I had been in hospital but I hadn't put the dates...and the system needed the dates! The thing is, I have the dates somewhere. I don't know whether to phone them back...or just leave them to write to the hospital.
I am due to be reassessed @May 2020....so by the time two departments write to each other....it will probably be then!
