PIP More Information needed by IAS was created by sbsteve
Got a letter today saying that IAS wants more information from the people involved in my treatment or care. My PIP forms had to be back for the 29th December 2018. This seems to be long winded in getting back to me saying they need more info. I have never had a letter like this before, though it does say they may be able to reach a decision without me having a face to face.
Any ideas how long this is likely to take or if there are long delays, I'm now getting worried my mobility car contract ends at the start of July and I'm almost ready to be looking to renew, if an award goes in my favour. Thanks in advance.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It is going to add three or four weeks, it is worth your contacting the people to warn them that the Capita will be writing or possibly phoning them and to make sure that they have all the information about your problems to be able to reply to the request.

Thank You Gordon...The only people that treat me are my GP and hospital and I have just been referred to an hospital out of my area that deals with the speciality I require. Guess it is in the hands of the Gods. Once again many thanks.
