Given that many organisations use the Enhanced Rate of PIP Mobility for their concessions and given that (I now learn) that even if DWP acknowledge that mobility is worse the rate cannot be changed for someone of Pension age is there another method of registering poor mobility to gain some of these concessions? e.g. Carers ticket at events.?

Not all of the concessions require an Enhanced Mobility award, some also have age dependencies or are based on other awards, for example; carers concessions are based on the Daily Living award and some are based on a Blue Badge which can still be awarded by the Local Authority even if the claimant does not have a suitable PIP award.
