Sorry to be a pain but can I just ask if my PIP assessment report can be helpful tomorrow at my ESA assessment? I was given 17 points for the care part and a straight 12 points for Nat being able to walk over the 20 metres. This was a f2f assessment in June 2017

It can't hurt but the criteria for ESA is different, so for example; ESA is not a walking test, it is a Mobility test! In addition to your walking, it considers your ability to self-propel a manual wheelchair over the same distances, you do not need to be using a wheelchair or even to own one for it to be considered. SO even if you can show your walking is restricted unless you can also show that you cannot self-propel the wheelchair you will still not score points.
Good luck for tomorrow.

Sorry it’s taken a couple of days but have just recovered from my assessment. It seemed to go ok I was only in there 20 minutes and the hp seemed to be answering the questions she asked me herself if you know what I mean. Although the refused a home assessment they organised a taxi for me. Keeping everything crossed now for my result.

Got my result finally and have been kept in the support group. The report states that evidence suggests improvement unlikely in the longer term. Any idea what this means thank you.

Hi Wasue
'improvement unlikely in the longer term, ' just means they are not expecting your health to improve even after a long period of time.
Congratulations on staying in the support group.
