Thank you for your reply Gordon, trust me it is much appreciated in what is a mine field of complex forms and information regarding benefits, its knowing that someone is available for help and guidance is very reassuring indeed , in a world were help and advice is dwindling at an alarming rate as we speak.
I will keep everyone informed and i hope this thread help people also, keep safe everyone.

Hi guys quick update and time line on this thread, which i hope helps answer some questions

1, 22nd feb 2019 ESA forms arrive.
2. 2nd july 2019 ESA assessment. i informed them that i was disabled since 1998 and recieving both awards of PIP and would a paper based assessment save time and money to the Maximus people but was informed it didn't matter as you can receive one award without the other and an update on my details was needed.
3.2nd of August 2019 placed in the support group after recognising severe disability is likely in the area of mobilising due to pain and fatigue which is unlikely to be improved with the use of manual aids or appliances.
the client has a high level of specialist input and still experiences significant symptoms, However with further input from specialist services there is some scope for some symptom improvement in the medium term. ( Ive been registered disabled for over 20 years and have a wide spread pain management team of specialist around me).
The available evidence suggests review in the medium term. This was taken from the Medical report form requested by me and is a suggestion by the Nurse who did the medical ( I'm not quite sure what that means , maybe our Gordon might have heard that before).
Hope this helps with timelines and any questions you have.
Take care everyone and send as much medical evidence has you can to them

I can't thank you enough Gordon for your help and advice its been much appreciated,
just one last question if i can please,
on my medical report that i requested the Nurse who conducted the assessment wrote on my report that although i have severe disability regarding mobility and pain / fatigue, they suggested a review in the medium term. and also suggested that although i have an extensive specialist pain management team around me and still continue to experience significant symptoms, but then say there is scope for symptom improvement in the medium term. (without taking into account I've had my condition for 20 years and unfortunately have had to give up a lucrative career). My question is what timescale is the Nurse recommending when they suggest Medium term. And I'm presuming that there is a short term and long term review that they recommend,
any suggestions would be much appreciated Gordon.

kind regards Redmack

The normal reassessment periods for the SG are 3 months to three years so Medium term is likely to be 18 months or more likely 2 years.

You can check by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, the reassessment date is recorded on your computer record, the prognosis from the assessment report is usually used to set the date.
