DLA to PIP mandatory reconsideration! was created by Linda
Hi. I received my assessment report a week ago . I'm currently on indefinite DLA. If , as I expect, having read the assessors report, I will get no points, and I go for MR, will my DLA stop immediately or will it continue until I have gone down the MR , and appeal route? Been on DLA for 14 years, and I'm extremely stressed out by the whole process and find it overwhelming to figure out how to appeal.

Hi Linda

If you are not in Northern Ireland then there are no on-going DLA payments if you do not receive a PIP award and then go on to challenge the Decision.

If you need to challenge the decision there is a guide on how to put in an MR.
