Hi, I am in the "throws" of transferring from DLA to PIP and the "evidence" I have for my conditions (OCD,Depression and Severe Anxiety) from Consultants etc really only relate to Medications/Treatment advice, observations at time of Appt etc which I used for my ESA claim. They do not really give much (if any) information on how the aformentioned conditions affect me day to day. Would it be worth including them anyway? With regard to evidence of my DLA claim, the DWP most probably won't still have this as I was given an Indefinate Award years ago. Kindest Regards, Rob.
You definitely should include the same letters, unless you think there is something in them that could harm your PIP claim. If you have a friend or relative who knows about your daily living, then get them to write a letter.
You need to understand how different PIP is from your previous DLA claim and read through the guides here and start your claim from scratch. You're right - they won't have any paperwork on file if it was years ago.
