DWP requesting my appeal is cancelled was created by CoolgirlM
I have successfully lodged my PIP appeal and received a bundle of papers from the DWP, including their response to the Tribunals service asking that my appeal is cancelled. Does this often happen??

It's a standard letter that they include in their submission, just ignore it, the Tribunal Service will pay no attention to it.

One more thing (didn’t mean to sound like Columbo), upon receiving the big bundle of papers from DWP, I noticed there was a report from my psychiatrist. He said that
“She finds it difficult to cope with chronic suicidal thought and rapid fluctuating in her mood.
She has difficulty in the activity of daily living but has been able to on with her daily life”
Is that how why of saying he doesn’t think I deserve/qualify for PIP?

It's possible that this is the cause but it is likely that the failed claim is the result of a number of factors.
Have you looked at the assessment report? Have you also considered whether you have properly explained your problems in your claim form, is it possible that you have misunderstood the Descriptors, described your problems in terms that do not match the Descriptors or failed to make appropriate use of the reliability criteria or the need for your limitations to be present on the majority of days to be considered?

I got the letter saying that Tribunal accepted my request for an appeal just over a month ago. Do you think it will be approximately 10 more months until I get a tribunal date?

It's likely, you can get an idea of current wait times by contacting the venue.
