Applied Jan 2019 by phone.
Form sent Mar 2019 late due to waiting for GP evidence and CAB appointment.
Took over 2 months for DWP to send text saying form arrived Jun 2019.
After I got that text about 3 weeks later Capita rang me to arrange home f2f.
I got appointment within 4 weeks.

At end of appointment assessor said I did well, no idea what he meant by that and warned me the DWP are been extremely slow, he said its taking them 3 months to currently even accept reports into their system, and then 4-8 weeks "after" that for a decision to be made.
Thought I would post my feedback here because as you can see I had a 2 and half month delay for the DWP to even process my form and capita waiting time was low and now the warning from the assessor for another long wait.

Thanks for the information. I too sent my DLA to PIP application back in March, had my f2f on 6th June and then ......... nothing. I was beginning to get worried because the last thing I heard from them was that they had received the f2f information and that I must not contact them and had to wait for them to contact me. Still waiting and almost August

I have since found out my report is been audited, I researched this and found in government documentation that things like descriptors can be amended during audit.

I have been told by capita 'yesterday' it will exit audit in 2-3 days, so I will ring the DWP maybe middle of next week or end of next week to see if they can release it.

So thats the current timescales report.

I have a question now tho.

Is there advise on how to obtain the untampered report pre audit? I m thinking ahead now, if I dont get the award I believe (and my HP's believe) I qualify for, I want as much evidence as possible, and I feel if the HP assessor agreed as well but then was forced to by an auditor to change his mind it would strengthen my case.

My feeling is the DWP only get the audited report, so a request to the DWP would only get me the audited report, am I correct in this and that I may have to request it from capita directly with a SAR?

Advice appreciated thanks.

Chris

I'm afraid you will not be able to get a copy of the pre-audit report, only the post-audit one will be submitted to the DWP and only this report will be used in regard to the Decision. Capita are not data owners, so a SAR will not be processed.

That is a shame, but thankfully I dont think I will need it.

Some more timeline progress.

Audit delayed by 2.5 weeks.

I requested the audited report the day it arrived. (got text).

It arrived today two days later.

In my view I should have standard care, and standard mobility. (I think high mobility would be pushing it).

I didnt get a descriptor for care I think I should have got, but he did give me another instead, so the recommendation in the report is .

8 points care and 8 points mobility with 4 year prognosis. I am in a state of shock (good shock not bad).

Of course I know the DM still needs to rubber stamp this tho.
