I am in receipt of ESA support group. I suffer from life long mental health conditions; Paranoid schizophrenia, depression and anxieties I recently commenced studying part time; one day a week in a university. Having informed the DWP about my candidatureship, I believe this has prompted the DWP to send me Capability For Work Questionnaire (ESA50). Could you kindly help me with how do deal with questions 11 to 18 of this form please. For question 11, I find it difficult to learn how to operate gadgets including remembering personal care of myself, I need prompting and supervision. Could the DWP use the fact that they know that I am studying and learning academically to fail me on this point? I thank you for your assistance.
I cannot tell you whether studying a college course will affect question 11 - this is up to the assessor, but they will certainly question your ability to understand simple and complex information and apply that to everyday tasks.
