Hi I won my pip appeal on Friday enhanced from both mobility and daily living awarded from 18/1/2018 until 28/3/2020.does this mean I can't use it for a motability car as I have less than 12 months left because they took there time .if so can I appeal awarded length.thanks in advance
Congratulations on winning your appeal. It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal Decision, I would give the DWP a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice from the Tribunal Service.
You should check with Motability but their normal policy requires at least a year to be left on the award for a lease contract to be agreed.
I'm afraid you cannot appeal the award length, your only option to take the matter further is an appeal to the Upper Tier Tribunal on the basis there was an Error of Law in the making of the Decision but this process can easily take the best part of a year so it will not help with your current situation.
