Can I just check something please. I currently have a blue badge which is valid till October next year, 2020. I've just been moved sucessfully from DLA to PIP and was given 10 points on mobility, so I qualify for the blue badge still, thank goodness cos man do I need to use it. My question is this, do I continue to use the current badge until I have to renew it next year or do I have to re apply under the PIP scheme? Many thanks for your help.
Providing you continue to meet the criteria for automatic qualification for a Blue Badge then you can continue to use the one that you have until it needs to be renewed.
