Lost PIP Forms

Hello all.
Just a very fast rant coming....so I've been on DLA for some years went to court and won it for life.
I have now been told to claim PIP so OK fine got the form all 56 pages of them, filled them all out sent lots of original copy's of doctors letters hospital etc it was sent back on the 23rd of August and so have called them now 3 times to be told that they don't have the forms at all, although they had sent me a letter asking me why i haven't sent the forms back and where where they?! So as i say called them back again today to be told that i will have to re fill in the forms and that she would extend the times on my claim so there not sending me letters to me wear the forms are.
Well to say the least I'm so stressed out and worried about all this, what happens to all my original paperwork? they will have to make do with copy's of copy's, i really don't know why they do this to claimants? I have lupus fibro jessner's Osteoporosis, and stress is not god for me. Anyone else had this trouble at all? I did read that they are losing peoples paperwork then amazingly it turns up? Hope you all are well sorry for the rant but really DWP DO NOT make anything easy do they? as if we don't have enough medical problems to deal with..........

This is why I always recommend sending such things recorded delivery - and keeping a copy in some form - especially if they're liable to penalise you if you don't get back in time. I never trust the DWP not to lose something.

hi gary, i do the same, but you said you keep an original of the claim form?

i get copies of everything including the claim form /extra information etc and send photo copies to the dwp, but always send the original claim form back and all by recorded or special delivery.

i've never sent a photo copy of the original claim form, i send the form they send me back (obviously) keeping a photocopy of the whole thing as proof.

so confused now.
