I missed my face to face assessment due to having a panic attack and getting lost I phoned them but they couldn’t change appointment due to having already done so It goes back to dwp for a decision now,I hope this won’t have cost my claim for DLA to PIP
You need to contact the DWP immediately and explain what happened, and you need to follow up that with a letter too. Normally claims that are returned to the DWP are canceled - but you may be able to argue that you were unwell. It's worth a try.
