Dla to pip no award due to info not received was created by scaryp
Post today saying no award as further info requested by them not received in time. Forms were posted 3/9 due back 5/9, heard nothing from them since. I did ring them before I posted the forms when I realised it was 2 class & asked if it would be OK on timing & they said not to worry. Didn't get a certificate of posting as struggle to get to the post office, but do have a photocopy of the forms. They say my dla will end 1/10. Am I right in assuming they haven't received the forms, or is it likely that they've sent me a request for something else that I've not received?
Can they just stop my dla if forms have been lost.? I can send them photocopies to prove they were done. Help.... Panicking!

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
I'm afraid the PIP2 not being returned is Cause to terminate your PIP claim, a Decision on your PIP claim, whatever it is, automatically terminates your DLA claim.
I assume from your post that you did not use a Tracked post, did you get a Certificate of posting?
You can request an MR but you will struggle to get the Decision revisedif you have nothing to show that you sent the form.
I would recommend that you start a new claim for PIP, if you do get the Decision revised and your original claim is restarted then the two will be merged.
