DLA to PIP at 67 years old was created by Silverfox
Hello everyone, I have joined today as a member, what a wonderful site.

My question is, I have had a letter from DWP, telling me I need to move from DLA to PIP. When I look at pip it tells me that PIP is for those up to the age of 64. So do I apply for pip or attendance allowance as I am 67. I had an indefinite award with DLA. Thank you

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

The legislation that controls the transfer of claimants from DLA to PIP suspends the age restriction so you definitely need to claim PIP. Our PIP Claim guide is on the following link if you have not found it already.
