I’m am just completing my pip form, I have wrote my answers on my laptop, can I print these out and send them with the form instead of writing in the box on the form.

It is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the PIP2, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.
Attach the pages to the back of the form using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

Do to the problem with the grip in my hands and the fact that my handwriting has always been so bad that I often could not read my own writing. I had a friend type out my answers which I had dictated and sent them in with my PIP form. As mentioned above I added my Name, N.I No, and date of birth to each sheet and also signed at the bottom of each page as well. I also number and lettered the pages (e.g A1 or B2 and linked these numbers/letters to the question they related to). This has been excepted by the DSS.
