Certainly, some GPs are less than helpful but other members have reported that the GP Notes were really helpful.

I know my own GP would like how it will structure the conversation. Unfortunately my sisters GP practice aren't receptive to this type of thing. You get 7 minutes and that's it. I'll certainly use stuff in it to try to focus his mind on key aspects for the letter. Silly really as you'd think he'd find it helpful to formulate his reply more quickly. I was just interested in if anyone has done anything different that they found successful too.

Just wondering - does your sister have any other health professional support, like a specialist cancer nurse who could write something in support of the claim? I worked in this area back in the DLA days, and part of my job was writing these for my patients.
Good luck getting her GP to complete the form!
