I have had to give up work at the end of July because I was struggling badly with pain for the last 10 years and couldn’t carry on anymore. I have only just discovered that I can claim ESA as well as PIP. I was getting DLA and am waiting for an answer regarding PIP. My question is do I need a letter from my doctor saying I cannot work due to my illnesses and pain?
