I've just been reading about carers element and have a similar query I've a live in carer who is on my claim and receives CA and £25 a week income support. My claim is for ESA and low daily rate pip which works out at £125 aweek ESA and around £56 aweek pip. When reading about the three different carer benefits because I've inaffect give up my premium so as he can claim CA . Would I be able to claim the carer element myself? Phew! Hope someone can understand were I'm coming from ?
