If you are no longer working then there will be a four week run-on of your Tax Credits before they stop,
You can claim Universal Credit as a replacement, if your GP is willing to issue a Fit Note then you can be assessed for Limited Capability for Work although that will not be an issue for the next three months or more.

You have said that you have stopped working, unless you mean that you are actually off sick but still employed then you are only entitled to the four weeks run on.
You can make an application for UC and present a Fit Note and this will remove you from the All work-related activity group although, at the moment, no work activities are being required. You can then be assessed to see whether you have LCW LCWRA, again, this won't happen for
some time.
You can see what you might receive by putting your information into one of the online benefit calculators.
