Hi My PIP assessment has been canceled twice by ATOS. The first time they called and said they would not be able to see me at the beginning of March and the second time due to Coronavirus. Since nobody contacted me to discuss the next steps or alternative arrangements. does anyone have a phone call from ATOS about PIP assessment over the phone?
The Assessment Provider or the DWP will write to you about what will happen next, either a telephone assessment will be booked by the AP, or you will hear from the DWP that they have received all of the information to make a Decision if a Paper assessment is possible.
At this time we have only had members report one of the above, so it is not clear whether there is a group of claimants where neither a Paper or telephone assessment is suitable if there is then they will have to wait until the current crisis is over.
If your PIP award is due to expire then it will be extended by at least six months.
