Advice on Award Date / Payment

I have had a telephone assessment and followed the guidance on here to the letter. I have now received a copy of the assessors report, which looks favorable for me. My question is I applied in february for PIP and the recommendation has gone off to the case manager now reading the assessors report they have recommended a 12 month review, could I please ask does this mean my award will be from february or from the date the case manager makes a decision. I am just wondering if I will get the 3 months from february to now may / june for when the decision will be made or will the case manager make the award from when they make the decision and give 12 months from then. Because if not that would have been a total of 3 to 4 months from when I sent the form in to a decision being made by a case manager. Is it 12 months from when I apply or 12 months from when they make a decision. Thank you
