DLA transfer to PIP for over 65 year olds was created by buntontrinitas
I have received DLA Higher Rate Care and Higher Rate Mobility from 1997. I am 68 years old in December.

Interested to hear from other members in the same category regarding when the DWP plan to "migrate" us.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Trinitas

Unless you were born before 08/04/1948 then you will at sometime have to apply for PIP.
PIP is a fundamentally different benefit from DLA and as a result, so is the assessment.

Our PIP Claim guide can help you complete your PIP form and has sections on the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

If you have any further questions then do come back to the forum.
