Hi All Had a recent Phone Assessment, resulting letter & outcome not happy with.
Call lasted just under 30 minutes - nothing was read back to me as to what was / had been documented (this is supposed to be done by HP before the conclusion of the call).
Do I ask for a copy of the Assessor's report? Or get back in touch with DWP (with someone present with me) and ask for clarification on quite a no. of points? (They also got date wrong when Pip Std. rate would be stopping : in 2 places in 1st page of letter it quotes '2019' instead of '2020', saying they've overpaid me) ! ! ! So I've a lot to go back to them on.
You can ring up and request a copy of the assessment report. If you are unhappy with what is written, you can write to the Decision Maker and make any points you wish (though you only have a small window of time to do this). If you go down this route, make sure you concentrate on the points where you haven't scored points that you think you should have done.
Then when the decision is sent to you, if you are unhappy with it, you can put in for a Mandatory Reconsideration.
