Hi Daff
If there has been a substantial improvement in a claimant's condition which means they might not be entitled to the same level of award or any award at all, the DWP wants to know about it as soon as possible. The system doesn't allow for claimants to wait and see if the improvement is sustained for several weeks or months while still claiming the benefit. So that means it falls on the claimant to decide when they will report a change of circumstances. This will trigger a reassessment unless someone says they no longer require any benefit at all.
